Tokmok Industrial and Pedagogical College is a state-run institution of secondary vocational education founded in 1983, named after U. Usubaliev. The college places special emphasis on the quality of education, modern infrastructure, a strong focus on industrial training, and comprehensive professional preparation. Today, the learning process is based on modern pedagogical methods and digital technologies, aimed at training well-rounded, competitive professionals ready for the labor market.
College graduates work successfully throughout Kyrgyzstan as vocational school leaders, government employees, teachers, and entrepreneurs. In the 2023–2024 academic year, 71% of graduates found employment, which clearly reflects the high quality of education and the college’s strong partnerships.

🛠️ Short-Term Professional Courses:
In collaboration with the Chui District and Tokmok City Employment Centers, the college conducts retraining courses for unemployed citizens lasting from 2 to 3.5 months in the following professions. These programs are aimed at helping unemployed youth and career changers gain employable skills:

The college cooperates on a contractual basis with more than 30 institutions and enterprises throughout the country to organize practical training for students. Agreements have been signed with service stations, kindergartens, schools, light industry companies, and energy and agricultural enterprises in Tokmok and Bishkek. This collaboration gives students the opportunity to develop practical skills in real working conditions.
🌐 International and Partnership Programs:
The college has successfully implemented numerous projects with the support of international organizations such as GIZ (Germany), the Asian Development Bank (ADB), GOPA, and GTZ. These programs provided modern equipment and furniture, improved teacher qualifications, and introduced pilot programs and testing centers. Such cooperation improves the quality of education and better prepares students for the labor market.
📈 Employment Outcomes:
In the 2023–2024 academic year, 473 students graduated from the college, of whom 193 (71%) found employment. In some specialties, the employment rate reached 82%. This result reflects the high quality of education, the relevance of training programs, and the college’s reliable partnerships.
Tokmok Industrial and Pedagogical College goes beyond academic education by actively cooperating with employers to ensure successful job placement for its graduates. Providing students with the opportunity to gain practical experience in real work environments is one of the college's key priorities.
The college has signed agreements with over 30 organizations to facilitate production practice. These training facilities help students acquire hands-on skills and also assist them in securing employment after graduation. This systematic partnership significantly increases graduates' employability.
